Privacy Policy

BETONBOX is made by Hugo Software. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with data. The short version: we collect nothing.

We collect no personal data

BETONBOX has no user accounts, no sign-in, no registration and no email collection. We operate no servers for this app and receive nothing from it. We cannot identify you, and we do not want to.

Your beats stay on your device

Everything you create in the app — drum patterns, pattern banks, song chains, saved projects, effect settings, tempo and interface preferences, and any WAV files you export — is written to your own device: to the app's local storage, and for exports to the app's cache folder.

That data never leaves your phone unless you choose to share an exported WAV file yourself using the Android share sheet. It is not backed up to any service of ours, because we have no service. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking

BETONBOX contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. No advertising identifier (AD_ID) is collected or used. There is no profiling, no third-party tracker of any kind, and no data is shared with or sold to anyone.

No payments

The app is completely free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so we never see any payment information.

Permissions

The app declares only the standard INTERNET permission that comes with its WebView shell. It does not require a network connection, and no feature of the app sends data anywhere. There is no microphone, camera, location, contacts or storage access.

Works offline

All sounds are synthesized in code on your device. The app is designed to work fully offline and makes no network requests in normal use.

Children

BETONBOX is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. Your data lives only on your device, entirely under your control — you can clear projects inside the app or uninstall it to remove everything.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
